General: How do I extend my
VGA cable?
- The VGA cable is custom, and is not sold in regular stores. It only
comes in a 6 foot length. To extend this length, purchase a Monitor
Extension Cable in a computer supply store or A/V store. This extension
cable is the same as would be used to move a desktop monitor further
away from a desktop computer. To set it up, attach the monitor extension
cable to the computer, and the custom VGA cable to the monitor extension
cable. The custom VGA cable will connect to the projector.
- You can extend the projector to a maximum of 25 feet, including the
custom VGA cable. Beyond that, signal degradation will occur. For longer
distances, use a RGB relay booster.
