Answer
PoinTech can be properly connected to your PC, even though your whiteboard
drawing is not being recorded on your PC display. First, verify that the
PoinTech serial cable is properly connected, and the green LED light on
PoinTech is lit. If PoinTech is connected properly, the problem is most
likely one of the following:
* You have multiple frame session files open and you did
not attach PoinTech to the current PoinTech session. Make sure small blue
triangle image appears in the upper left corner of the virtual whiteboard
on your PC display. If it does not, select Activate PoinTech from the PoinTech
application Settings menu.
* There is no open session file. If the display area of the PoinTech
application is gray, and there is no outline of a whiteboard, select
New from the File menu to open a new session file. By default, the PoinTech
application automatically attaches PoinTech to a new session.
Note - Press the Maximize Board button on PoinTech to automatically
display the current session file to which PoinTech is attached on your
PC.
