Projectors at InfoComm 2008 New PS200 and PV100 Series Provide Unmatched Lifelike Color Reproduction Through BrilliantColor™ Technology BEAVERTON, ORE. - June 18, 2008 - PLUS Vision Corporation of America, a premier provider of leading-edge digital projectors and electronic copyboards, today announced the launch of its new PS200 and PV100 series of projectors. Both TAXAN series feature Texas Instruments' new DLP® BrilliantColor™ technology, which provides unprecedented lifelike color reproduction and vibrant images. The BrilliantColor technology greatly extends the color range of conventional DLP projectors for dramatically improved reproduction of yellow and light blue tones. Both the PS200 and PV100 series offer a wide choice of software-based color modes through variable illumination. By adjusting the illumination on different segments of the projector's color wheel, users can achieve the optimal balance between color and brightness to suit a particular purpose, including optimizing modes for presentation materials and movies. Both the PS200 and PV100 operate at maximum brightness of 3,000 lumens, which can adjusted downward for power-saving "eco mode." he Taxan PS200 features quick and easy "two-step setup," with a unique auto focus sensor that automatically measures the distance to the screen and focuses the projector accordingly as soon as the unit is powered on. Weighing in at only 4.2 pounds, projectors in both series are exceptionally compact, owing to the structurally simple DLP optics and high-density packaging technology. "The PS200 and PV100 series offer the absolute state of the art in optics, color reproduction, and features for ease of use all in a light and compact package, making them ideal for both in-house meetings and presentations outside the office," said Tom Oishi, president and CEO of PLUS Vision Corporation of America. "We're pleased to be bringing these exceptional projectors to the market." PLUS Vision will be demonstrating both the PV200 and PS100 series of projectors in booth #C2806 at the upcoming InfoComm08 exhibition, June 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
