The U4 Series is an upgrade to the U3 Series, the best-selling mobile projectors boasting over 100,000 cumulative unit sales (since sales were launched in July 2000). Texas Intruments' next-generation DLP DDR chip, an updated design, improved optics, and much more offer improvements to every feature. Use of the new DDR dramatically improves the projector's contrast with an incredible 1500:1 ratio. Project crisp, sharp images in which black is really black, and white is really white. A rich range of gradations enables the faithful reproduction of subtle color shades, greatly enhancing the picture's quality.

Advanced, next generation features standard on the U4-136: "Eco-Mode," saving you lamp hours, with only a 20% reduction in brightness; an on-screen timer to make sure your presentations stay on track; and custom logo projection, where you can set your own logo to appear during the projector's start-up!

Memory Card Slot:
	One of the single most innovative aspects of the U4-136 is the fact that it has a memory card slot. Unprecedented in such a compact projector, this feature allows you to effectively eliminate the need for an additional device when showing presentations. Use the included software to write your document onto the memory card, and then leave your laptop at home!
Contrast Ratio:
	An incredible Light/Dark contrast is 1500:1! Black is black, and white is white. This provides clearer images of text and fine drawings than other low-contrast projectors with the same brightness, also allowing fine gradations of expression with photographs and other images. Larger Image
DVI Interface:
	For a pure digital connection, with no signal compression, the U4-136 features the advanced Digital Visual Interface (DVI). You can also project an HDTV signal through your DVI input. Note: Your computer must be equipped with a DVI port to use this cable with the U4-136.
Short Throw Lens:
	Project big-screen images from short distances, with a lens that allows projection of large images from a relatively short distance. Now you can give effective presentations away from the office, even when space is limited.
Digital Zoom Features:
	This function projects the point you want to emphasize most on the screen, and allows greater control with a scrolling feature while zoomed in.

With PLUS' M-Series copyboards featuring a built-in memory card slot, you can download what is written on the whiteboard to a CompactFlash card, and project it directly from the U4-136 digital projector. Share info easily with all meeting participants without printing and distributing hard copy.
