(DISCONTINUED) DIGITAL
PROJECTOR
|
|
The affordable high-lumen projector
with a manual zoom lens.
|
|
At 2000 lumens standard and 3000 lumens in Bright Mode, you
won't have to worry about ambient lighting ever again. The U5-532h
uses PLUS's unique Advanced Color Wheel (ACW) to preserve brightness
while allowing for greatly enhanced color reproduction and astoundingly
clear picture quality. The U5-532h can meet all of your demands for
the highest quality presentations.
The U5 series of projectors is the new business standard line from
PLUS. Texas Instruments' next-generation DLP DDR chip, an updated
design, improved optics, and much more improvements to every feature.
Use of the new DDR dramatically improves the projector's contrast
with a high 2000:1 ratio. Project crisp, sharp images in which black
looks black, and white is really white. A rich range of gradations
enables the faithful reproduction of subtle color shades, greatly
enhancing the picture's quality.
Advanced, next generation features standard on the U5-532h: "Eco-Mode,"
saving you lamp hours, with only a 20% reduction in brightness; an
on-screen timer to make sure your presentations stay on track. Cost
of ownership overall is significantly reduced through the lamp life
of approximately 2000 hours in normal mode, and approximately 3000
hours in Eco-Mode.
Further protect your investment: U5 series projectors can be set to
require the input of a password at startup. We recommend affixing
a label to your projector indicating that it is password-protected
to prevent tampering or theft. Also, the standard Kensington
security cable slot is featured on all PLUS projectors.

| Bright
Mode Function: |
|
 |
An extra
1000 lumens of brightness! Choose the Bright Mode option in
the projector's menu, and an internal motor quietly slides the
color wheel away. When in Bright Mode, the image will not be
in color, but with a full grayscale. This is ideal for projecting
spreadsheets, x-rays, and any full text applications. |
| |
|
| Contrast
Ratio: |
|
 |
An
incredible Light/Dark contrast is 2000:1! Black is black, and
white is white. This provides clearer images of text and fine
drawings than other low-contrast projectors with the same brightness,
also allowing fine gradations of expression with photographs
and other images. |
|
Advanced Color Wheel (ACW): |
|
 |
The Advanced
Color Wheel (ACW) is a PLUS technology that allows for greater
enhancement of color reproduction. Specifically, it addresses
the yellow and red shift that is common to most business projectors.
Using the ACW, yellows and reds appear bright and saturated
-- not muddy. |

Digital Zoom Feature: |
|

|
This
function projects the point you want to emphasize most on the
screen, and allows greater control with a scrolling feature
while zoomed in. |
